Securing SQL Server; Recommended Practices

Detection of data breaches are becoming more common, and many times it is down to poorly secured systems or design flaws. This, in addition to stringent data protection laws and industry compliance, means that it is vital that security is at the forefront of any data professional’s mind. In this session, we will look at a number of recommended practices for helping to secure SQL Server systems. From SQL Server configuration options, security features, and database design options. Through to some of the supporting infrastructure and mindset that can help you build systems that are secure by design. Whether you are a Database Administrator, Developer, or Business Intelligence professional. We all have a responsibility to secure the data that we manage, whether it is ours or our customers.
